Hans Wegner Circle Chair
Carpet

This piece was made for Jesus Boyero visualization studio. Hans Wegner designed over 500 chairs in his lifetime, more than 100 of which went into mass production. This round shape chair in particular. Modeling and rendering of this beauty took one day and the result turned out quite realistic despite no special effort to do so

Carpet, very simple principal, low-poly base mesh and tileable texture​. The endings was done by multiplying groups of splines, which was modeled by hand. Overall it was the day of work and luck in finding the right texture. Folds are made by using displace modifier in 3ds Max applied over the basic mesh using a bitmap

Armchair

This piece was made using polygonal modeling technique with further subdivision. The main goal here was to achieve realistic folds of leather back as well as to introduce believable leather material. Only one reference picture was used
